Friends of FHSP Monthly Meeting
The Friends of Fort Harrison State Park hold their monthly meetings on the first Thursday of the month at the Visitor's Center. The next meeting will be Thursday, February 2 at 6:30 PM.
Friends of FHSP Volunteer Opportunities
General volunteer information: The Friends of Fort Harrison State Park welcomes volunteers of all abilities. Many of our activities are scheduled on weekday evenings or Saturday mornings, however. additional activities may be available at other times. Please sign up for activities so that we may plan accordingly and contact participants in the event of cancellation due to weather. Events with inadequate volunteer participation may be cancelled.
We ask that volunteers sign up for activities so that we will have adequate supplies and tasks for the number of volunteers. Some activities are not suitable for minors, and will be indicated in the description. All minors must be accompanied by an adult and must complete and sign the and have a signed Youth/Parent volunteer agreement. Adult volunteers who are new to volunteering at Indiana State Parks must complete the Volunteer Service Agreement for Adults. |
Maintenance MondaysMaintenance Mondays are currently on hold for the winter.
Tuesday Troops
Tuesday troops meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month. We are taking a break during the winter and will resume in March 2023.
Second Saturday Project Work
The Second Saturday projects are currently on hold for the winter.
