about the friends //
Established officially in 2014, the Friends of Fort Harrison has maintained a constant presence in our beloved park. While members come and go, our mission remains the same -- to preserve the natural resources of Fort Harrison State Park for future generations. In 2022, the Friends of Fort Harrison partnered with members of the Fort Harrison State Park Dog Park in order to create a sustained volunteer effort for invasive plants and other maintenance items at the dog park.
